The fabric

Storm proof by laminate, not coating

Most shells start life waterproof and get worse every season. The VNT/01 starts waterproof and stays that way, because the weatherproofing is built into the fabric itself.

Three-layer storm laminate

A 20K mm waterproof, highly breathable membrane laminated to a recycled face fabric. No lining to soak, no coating to crack.

Every seam sealed

All seams taped and watertight-tested one by one, with a storm flap riding over the waterproof front zip.

Storm hood and venting

A helmet-compatible hood with a laminated brim, two-way pit zips and an articulated fit that moves when you do.

The shell

One jacket, every assault of weather

VNT/01 · GraphiteVNT/01 technical shell jacket, graphite with signal orange zipper accents

Cut for movement over armor, the VNT/01 layers a stormproof laminate over a quiet, matte face fabric. It packs to the size of a water bottle and shrugs off everything from drizzle to vertical sleet.

Field tests

Tested where umbrellas go to die

Before a single jacket ships, the laminate spends a season out there: ridge traverses, blizzard camps and long wet miles through the highlands.

Testers

From the people who got soaked first

“It shed a full day of sleet on the divide and still breathed on the climb. I stopped thinking about the weather, which is the whole point.”

MKMarta Keller
Mountain guide, Chamonix

“The quietest hardshell I have ever worn. No crackle, no cling, no swishing every time I raise the camera.”

JLJonas Lindqvist
Backcountry photographer

“712 grams and it survived a full Scottish winter. I have already told the group chat to get on the waitlist.”
